About Stript Cosmetics

Stript Cosmetics was born from a belief that beauty should be kind - to both you and the planet.

We believe in cosmetics with a conscience so driven by a commitment to sustainability, we hand make a range of beautiful bath and body cosmetics that smell amazing and make you feel good, without negatively impacting the planet.

Our story

Founded by Becky Shuck in 2019, Stript Cosmetics was created in hopes to tackle the plastic problem in the world of beauty.

With billions of units of plastic produced worldwide by the cosmetics industry, we wanted to create a bath and body self-care business that was free from single-use plastics.

We're based in Walsall and, as true Midlanders, proud that we make all of our products by hand in our West Midlands workshop.

How green are we?

It’s very easy to claim to be a “good” company whilst doing the bare minimum, so we want to take it to the next level. The longer the business is running, the more we realise we can do for people and the planet - being a purpose-driven business really is a journey!

We are still free from plastic packaging, but we’re also working on being a completely sustainable company. From planting trees, carbon neutral delivery, and cruelty-free ingredients, you can read all about our ongoing sustainability journey here. We think accountability and transparency is very important to running a green business, so please reach out to us if you think there are things we could do better!

We also believe in giving back. Cosmetics and self-care can truly transform your mood and wellbeing, so from 2026 we are aiming to support mental health charities by donating a percentage of our profits. Find out more about our ESG initiatives here.
